Hands down the best stay yet

We have been going to Cooke City for winter snowmobiling and snowboarding for over a decade and have stayed at a lot of different accommodations over the years. The Pilots Roost is hands down the best stay yet. Incredible gear room that allows everyone's gear to dry out, a well-stocked kitchen for amazing meals, great rooms and showers — and not to mention one of the best views in the area. This place truly has it all. Booking was a breeze. This is now our annual accommodation!

Best place to stay in Cooke City

Best place to stay in Cooke City! We had such a wonderful stay at this home. It was the perfect base for our annual family sled/ski trip. The garage and gear room were a huge bonus and made it so easy to store our sleds and dry out our gear after long days in the mountains. One of my favorite features was the beautiful soaker tub (with views!!) — it was absolutely perfect for warming up and relaxing after being out in the cold. The views from the home are truly stunning and made our mornings and evenings feel extra special. We also really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together without any hassle. Overall, this place had everything we could have asked for — comfort, convenience, and amazing scenery. We will definitely be staying here again!

Endless lines, world-class terrain

The Pilots Roost is truly a unique and luxurious cabin in the heart of the Cooke City wilderness. The access to world class snowmobile and skiing terrain is unmatched by any place I've ever visited. The views are stunning and within minutes of snowmobiling from the cabin you are among endless lines and vast wilderness. For a group of snowmobilers you will be hard pressed to find such a beautiful cabin with this kind of terrain and access anymore in the world. I hope to return to the Pilots Roost many times in the future.
